"NO MIDDLE GROUND
Oct. 24
Do not fail Me. I dod not callyou to failure, to disregard, and disobedience. Who isthe one who calls you to such as these? Surely not the Spirit of God! Who then is winning! Who is wooing you away from Me? Oh, I know, your heart stands fast. But what of your mind, your time, your ppurpose? What of these? You must return to Me in every way. There is no middle ground. There can be no compromise. Have you talked yourself into believing such folly? I must have you wholly and completely. There is no other way. Anything less is as nothing at all. Remember, it is you who have chosen—you chose yo follow Me at all costs, in all ways, for all time. I did not force those words from your lips. You spoke them of your own accord. Am I now to settle for less than your promise? No, My child, I accept what is given to Me. Do not try to take backwhat is Mine. I shal not be satisfied with anything less than all you are, all you have, all you are to become. I have paid the price. You are Mine!"

"DENYING ME
Oct. 24
Shall you deny the power of God in your life? That is what you are doing when you refuse to come to Me. You are not just neglecting Me, as you so often think. No, you are denying Me. To whom much is given, much will be required. You must use the power of God that is meant for you. To fail in this is to fail in all of the important things."

"THE BEGINNING
Oct. 22
Is it so difficult to be mindful of this one thing? To meet with Me at the beginning of each new day. All else will follow. All else will spring from this joyful sharing- time. All of life will fall into place if the day is begun in this way."

"THE WAY OUT
Oct. 20
You know that difficult days must come. But they can be lived through with My strength. I am so proud of you, learning this. You are living it at last. My heart rejoices to see your calm trust, your willing obedience, your change of heart. How I treasure you and all that you have learned! Stay steady—do not falter— do not succumb to Satan’s taunts and pestering. keep the foot of faith planted firmly upon his head and all will be well. I will show you the way out of many difficulties—you have only to follow Me."

"Oh, the secrets of the child-heart! The precious heart of the child. No matter the age, no matter the circumstance- you are My child, My precious blood-bought child. Man is so busy being ‘man’ that he misses My calling. The calling to be ‘child’. bring Me the bumps and bruises, the hurts great and small. Bring Me the questions, the concerns, all the ‘dailyness’ of your little day. Bring it all to Me-keep nothing back to brood over-bring it all to Me. I will take care of everything.”

THE GHOST AND ITS WIND
By: Eros
The gust of wind
caught with it
a tremendous whiff
of gloom.
Yonder beyond
is a waiting silhouette
of a woman wronged.
A ghostly shadow owing to its nature..
an actual ghost..
…Waiting for the man
who gave her the ring,
but abandoned her at the altar.
The wind crosses the river,
passes through the city,
waking the dwellers up
from their midnight dreams.
Making them remember
their own lives’ misery.
